DO NOT SELL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION

Last updated January 01, 2023

This notice and the options below apply only to California residents. Please be advised that your decision to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information, as described below, will require us to terminate your membership in our panel.

If you are a research respondent of Virtue Research, we will collect personal information from you under certain circumstances. If you’re a California resident, our collection and use of that personal information will be governed by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

Under CCPA, “personal information” includes not only names, postal and addresses, and IP addresses, but also potentially other profiling or demographic information that could be linked to an individual or household, and even “inferences” that can be drawn from such information.

“Sell” is also broadly defined under CCPA. Its meaning includes “…renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, [and] transferring…for monetary or other valuable consideration.”

In connection with research related services we provide to our clients, we may, under the above definitions, provide some information about you in a way that could arguably be deemed a “sale” of “personal information” under CCPA.

As a California consumer, you have the right to opt-out of this “sale” of your personal information. You may exercise this right by filling out the contact us form at the link below, or by contacting us at 1 (609) 436-5600.

Please be advised that your decision to opt out will negatively affect your ability to participate in research opportunities or to be a member of our panel.

If you choose to exercise your right to opt out, either directly or via an authorized agent, we may request certain personal information in order to verify that you (and, as applicable, your agent) do in fact authorize the request.

For more information about how we collect, use, and store your personal information, and your rights as a California consumer, please see our Privacy Policy.
